Because my new system relies heavily on emails (to send your download links, receipts, newsletters, password reminders, adoptables, etc) it is important to make sure that you can receive them!
Unfortunately, it’s not unheard of for my emails to go into a spam folder and for a customer to think I’ve forgotten them! Because there are so many different email softwares and services out there it’s not possible for me to cover all of them, but hopefully I can give a few tips that will ensure you receive my communications.
- Most email providers offer some sort of contact list. By adding firstname.lastname@example.org to your contact list you should ensure that they get through.
- If you are expecting an email from me and don’t receive it, please check your spam folder. If you find it there, you should have the option to mark it as “not spam” or “safe sender”
- If all else fails, try to do an internet search for “add sender to safe list” along with the name of your email service or software. This should provide detailed information.
