New Freebie!

New Freebie!

I honestly can not believe it is already the first of December.  I’ve normally done the vast majority of my Christmas shopping by now and have my house well on the way to full-on decoration.  What have I done so far?  Well, let’s just say I’m proud to have finally removed the pumpkin from the front porch!

I have, however, managed to create a selection of gift tags that I thought I’d share with you guys for free.  They’d work equally well for Christmas gifts or a Winter birthday!  Each tag is 2″ wide by 4″ tall and all six print out on one sheet of paper – all you have to do is cut them out and write your name.

Bring it on, December! 🙂

Bringing ’em back!

Bringing ’em back!

Quite some time ago, I found myself enjoying creating little quotes that would appeal to both kids and adults.  I forgot about them for a while but now I’m bringing them back!  I’ll be hoping to post at least one a week on my ThistleGirl Designs Facebook page but you’ll also find them here on my site.  For this week, there are two!  You are welcome to download them and share them freely 🙂

If there is a specific quote that you’re fond of or would like to see, simply leave me a comment here or on my Facebook page and I’ll see what I can do!

All of my print collections supply you with images that are 300 dpi PNG formats.  This gives you a bit of leeway when it comes to resizing! Most of the people/children in my collections are created to fit a 5″x7″ area but can be enlarged to fit a full-sized piece of paper. You can also reduce them a bit, but may lose some detail if you go very small.

So that you can get an idea of the resizing capabilities, I’ve included two sample images here.  Simply click on the sample image to open the full-sized image (you’ll see that they are much too large for use on the web) which you can then right-click and download to your computer for experimenting with.

The boy shown to the left is the general size of all the children in my collections – some may be a little taller if they’re holding something or wearing a costume, while some may be shorter or wider if they are sitting or lying down.

To the right is my logo, which is approximately 3″ x 3″ – just so you can play around with a slightly smaller image as well.

I hope this helps you to see the quality and capabilities of my images. Each software will handle resizing images differently, and I’m not familiar with all of them, so please check out the help section for your particular software if you’re having trouble figuring out how to resize 🙂
